Render 8a is Now Available
Render 8a is now available on the TechDoc 8 Downloads page. If you already have a Render 8 VM, you can update it by simply following the section called "Periodic Maintenance of the Render VM" in the Render Installation guide. The following is a list of changes from Render 8 to Render 8a:
TechDoc 8 Build 08/17/2015 is Now Available
TechDoc 8 Build 08/17/2015 is now available as a full installation/upgrade setup program or a simple patch on the TechDoc 8 Downloads page. If you are already running a prior build of TechDoc 8, either method can be used but the patch is much smaller and quicker to apply.

TechDoc Client 8 Build 08/10/2015 Released
TechDoc 8 Client Build 08/10/2015 has been released and features the following improvements:
- Updated Release Document to detect when the Render checkbox should be disabled.
- Target documents of an operation become/remain selected after the operation completes to make it easier to perform subsequent operations on that set of documents.
TechDoc Client 8 Build 07/13/2015 Released
TechDoc 8 Client Build 07/13/2015 has been released and features the following improvements:
- Updated Search Folders to correctly handle Keywords again after an update of Java broke this feature.
- Added revisions to the Show Generations screen.
Electronic Forms coming soon. Are you ready?
By popular demand Electronic Forms will soon appear in TechDoc. After evaluating many of the forms standards that are currently out there, we felt it best to design our own. Unlike many other Electronic Forms specifications, the TechDoc Electronic Forms specification is human readable XML and simple enough to whip together in any basic text editor! The specification is currently in draft, but will soon be made available.
