TechDoc 9.2 is now available as a full installation/upgrade program on the TechDoc 9.2 Downloads page. If you are performing an upgrade, you must be running TechDoc 9 or higher before upgrading. Some of the highlight for TechDoc 9.2 include:
- Updates to support the latest Java 8 security baseline
- Added SharePoint BCS-compliant SOAP service stack with support for SAML AD claims-based authentication
- Improved rendering subsystem
- Updated VMware control to use VMware Web Services API instead of deprecated VIX API
- Reduced calls to hypervisor to shorten individual render times
- Added ability to abort the current request
- Added ability to change priorities, modify, and delete pending render requests
- Improved Electronic Records Management reports
- Improved support for long running servlets, like complex reports
- New support for Windows Server 2019 and SQL Server 2017
