Render 9 uses a standalone virtual machine and requires the end user to purchase and install 32-bit versions of the following products for each Render VM you create:
- Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or 10 (32-bit, Professional edition or higher)
- Microsoft Office 2013 or 2016 (32-bit, Professional Plus edition recommended)
- Microsoft Office Project 2013 or 2016 (32-bit, Professional edition recommended)
- Microsoft Office Visio 2013 or 2016 (32-bit, Professional edition recommended)
- iGrafx FlowCharter 2013, 2015, or Origins
Windows is required but the remaining products are optional. If you plan to omit any of the above products from your Render VM, please review the "Supported Render File Types" section of the Render Installation Guide to determine which products are required for various file extensions.
