Couple of questions

Was this the exact text of the error message:
"The file size exceeds the limit allowed and cannot be saved"
Finally, what TechDoc DM are you attempting to upload this document/file to?
I ask all of these questions because prior to TechDoc version 8 there was a 2GB limit. I'm sure the DM you are connecting to is at least version 8 so this shouldn't apply.
If the DM is running out of size in it's File Area(s) it's possible there just isn't enough remaining room to store your file.
